4 October 2009 – San Fabian. The Vicariate III celebration of the Solemnity of Christ the King is a month away, and in preparation for the big event, the parish celebrated a pre-Cristo Rey celebration.
The celebration began at 3 o’clock in the afternoon with a procession. The Blessed Sacrament was carried in the 
procession by Fr. Oliver E. Mendoza, the parish priest. The Knights of Columbus accompanied the Blessed Sacrament throughout the procession which lasted for about an hour. The rains of Typhoon Pepeng which was making a landfall in Cagayan at the moment the procession began stopped.
A Benediction followed after the procession. The October Rosary devotion preceded the Holy Mass.
