Logo for the Year of Faith

Logo English version

Concept of the Logo. The logo is composed of a square, bordered field on which a boat, symbolizing the Church, is represented as sailing on a graphically minimal representation of waves. The main mast of the boat is a cross from which sails are displayed in the form of dynamic signs which compose the trigram of Christ (HIS). The background to the sails is a sun which, associated with the trigram, refers to the Eucharist.

San Fabian Parish celebrates “Jubilee of the Laity”

7 July 2012 – San Fabian, Pangasinan. The Archdiocese of Lingayen-Dagupan celebrates “Jubilee of the Laity” this month of July. The month-long celebration starts with a “Pilgrimage of the Laity”. The pilgrimage will be participated in by the different parishes involving the ONLA or the Olupan na Laiko from Lingayen to Manaoag. The Parish of St Fabian, Pope and Martyr, takes part in the Pilgrimage.

The Jubilee Pilgrimage to Manaoag is from Lingayen to Dagupan to Manaoag. It will signify the Church’s journey towards God’s Kingdom where Mary is with the Father and her Son Jesus. The church’s communal journey’s end is for all of us to become “saints.” All of us are called to holiness – including all the lay faithful in whatever situation or circumstance they are.

The motorcade from the Parish of St. Fabian went around the poblacion area, going to the coastal barangays, turning left from Brgy. Mabilao to Brgy. Palapad. Representatives from the parish religious organizations, movements, ministries and apostolates took part in the motorcade.
