Rev. Fr. Mario Revilla Morales: Team Member of the Team Ministry at the Parish of St. Fabian

1 April 2012 – San Fabian, Pangasinan. The Parish of St. Fabian, Pope and Martyr, welcomed today Rev. Fr. Mario R. Morales as the member of the Team Ministry of the Parish of St. Fabian.

The arrival of Fr. Morales in the parish coincided with the creation of the the Team Ministry at the Parish of St. Fabian, Pope and Martyr. Rev. Fr. Oliver E. Mendoza was made the Moderator of the Team Ministry.

Team Ministry

The Code of Canon Law of 1983 provides in Can. 516 §1: Unless the law provides otherwise, a quasi-parish is equivalent to a parish. A quasi-parish is a certain community of Christ's faithful within a particular Church, entrusted to a priest as its proper pastor, but because of special circumstances not yet established as a parish.

With the appointment of Rev. Fr. Oliver E. Mendoza as the Moderator of the Team Ministry, his appointment as Parish Priest of the Parish of St. Fabian, Pope and Martyr, has been revoked.

“Fr. Ayong”

Fr. Morales is called was ordained a priest on 1 October 1990 by the late Archbishop Federico G. Limon, SVD. Fr. Ayong is from Mangaldan, Pangasinan . He finished his high school studies at the Mary Help of Christians High School Seminary in Binmaley, Pangasinan. He took his philosophical studies at the San Pablo Seminary in Baguio City. He finished his Theological studies at the Immaculate Conception School of Theology, Vigan City.

Fr. Morales served as the Rector of the Mary Help of Christians College Seminary, Bonuan Gueset before his appointment as a Team Member in San Fabian Parish.
